This is our store location in the 1950's. Charlie Sr. started working here in 1946 as a truck driver.

About Charlie Barbuti Furniture Mall
Since 1946 there has been a Charlie Barbuti "Making people
comfortable" in Liberty, N.Y. "Old Charlie" began his career in the
furniture business as a truck driver and worked his way up to manager
and finally owner at the very store location where he started. "Old
Charlie" was joined by his son "Young Charlie" in 1974. "Old Charlie"
had the reputation for selling quality furniture at good prices and
treating all his customers fairly. From 1974 until "Old Charlie's" death in
2001, the store was run by the two Charlies. Brian Starr joined the
family business in 1984 and today "Young Charlie" and Brian continue
to "make people comfortable"

A lot has changed since 1946; big chain stores can make the furniture
buying experience seem like a bad dream, but very little has changed
at Charlie Barbuti Furniture Mall. Our slogan says it all. We make you
comfortable not only with the items you purchase, but also in the total
experience. When you call us you will not get some electronic
answering system, you will most likely hear a friendly greeting from
Brian or Charlie.
We are proud of our reputation, and work at preserving it every day.
